Allegory is defined as the use of a subject: a person, an action, a being animate or inanimate, allows to include an idea, an abstraction that can be presented directly to us.

This figure of style, the most used in painting, sums up the stakes of this project. It is a question of going beyond the appearances represented on the image and making of this "moment pregnant" photographed, an object truly speaking for the spectator, a visual incarnation of themes known to all.

Allegories tackles, in visual resonance with ancient artistic codes, universal subjects such as love, death, vanity ... with a current look.
